AI Policy 🥱

This isn't a policy policy. I don't really know how to do those.

But for those who want to know how I use AI, and how I don't, I wanted to lay it out for you.

Most clients who choose me to help them are, like me, sick of slop. Fear not, you're in safe hands. Put simply, words you get from me will be written by me.

If I use AI during any projects, it's at the earliest ideation stage, or when drafting out ideas before I work on them and nail them down. But those are the bit I enjoy most about my work — so most often it won't even get a look in.

On more projects than ever, I'm being asked by clients to steer away from any sort of language that could be misconstrued as AI generated. That gives me comfort we're headed in the right direction.

My job is to make you sound inimitable and tell your story in a way LLMs can't. Like you, I find uses for them — but writing needs to be connected to people. Whether that's you, or me on your behalf, that's the way it should stay.
